No. Vihasri Business runs in the browser and as iOS/Android apps on phones, tablets, and laptops you already own. A dedicated billing machine is not required. Optional extras: an Android phone can print to a Bluetooth thermal printer; the browser can use the ordinary print dialog; PrintNode is optional if you already have a cloud printer. Vihasri Business does not sell or lock you into a cash drawer, card terminal, or branded counter kit.

Yes. Counter checkout records cash, UPI, card, or a split (mixed tender). Card means staff mark the payment as card — there is no chip-and-PIN terminal inside Vihasri Business. UPI at the register uses a QR from the store’s own Razorpay account when that store has connected keys and is in the India region.

Yes, if you want in-app UPI QR. Each Vihasri Business company (tenant) connects its own Razorpay API keys. Customer payments settle to that merchant — Vihasri Business does not hold customer funds in a platform wallet. If Razorpay is not connected, staff can still record cash or mark UPI/card as collected outside the QR flow.

Vihasri Business is a signed-in product. Open vihasri.com/login if you already have a company account. Self-serve company signup exists at /signup only when this server has signup enabled; if that form is rejected, it is not a public trial. Email [email protected] and ask for a walkthrough. We will tell you whether a demo shop, restaurant, or construction workspace fits.

No. Vihasri AI Solutions is the company (vihasri.com). Vihasri Business is the signed-in app for retail, restaurant, and construction — with Vihasri Spend for customer receipts and household budgets. AllMandir and ClassVani are other products, on their own domains. Vinod’s resume lives on vinodv.in — that is a personal page, not the app.

No. Vihasri Business is software you run on devices you already have. We do not require a proprietary billing computer, and we do not publish fake rupee-for-rupee comparison tables against other brands. Read the honest checklist on the Vihasri Business product page.

Do not plan on a guaranteed offline POS. Counter and kitchen flows are a live cloud app. Retail checkout can queue a sale on the device if the request fails as a network error, then sync later — that is a best-effort queue, not a promise that every bill, UPI QR, or kitchen ticket works with the internet down. Kitchen display and Razorpay UPI need a working connection.

No. Aggregator sync is not offered. Takeout and delivery inside Vihasri Business are the restaurant’s own channels (staff POS and guest links), not marketplace integrations.

No. Vihasri Business can print GST-aware tax invoices and keep GST categories on items. It does not one-click file GSTR returns, generate e-way bills, or manage FSSAI licences. Keep using your accountant or GST portal for filings.

No. Vihasri Business is billing, kitchen tickets, stock, and project paperwork. It does not replace staff, and we do not publish invented time-saved or revenue-uplift metrics.
