Walkthrough
In Inventory, each product has a sell price and a GST category (for example 5% or 18%). Shelf prices can be tax-inclusive for India. Barcodes and categories help the cashier find SKUs without guessing tax at checkout.
Receive goods into the warehouse so on-hand quantity is real. A completed sale deducts stock. Low-stock on Home is a reminder to reorder — it is not an automatic purchase order to a supplier.
Open the Store tab. Scan a barcode or tap the item into the cart. Change quantity, then checkout. Payment can be cash, UPI, card recorded, or split across those tenders. Staff with permission can void a sale or record a refund (cash, UPI, or card) and restock. Line discounts, coupons, loyalty points, and gift cards exist for shops that turn them on.
For India stores, connect that shop’s Razorpay API keys. The register can show a UPI QR; payment goes to the merchant account. If keys are not connected, still record cash or mark a UPI collected on a personal QR outside Jobora — be honest with the books either way.
Print or share the bill. Jobora can produce a GST tax invoice (including CGST/SGST or IGST lines when those amounts apply). That is a bill for the customer, not a GSTR filing.
Open/close a shift and use Z/X style reports so counted cash can be compared with what the app expected. Useful at day end; it is not a full statutory audit pack.
Hardware shops that sell cement, pipe, or fasteners over the counter use this same retail path. Contractor job costing (estimates issued to a site) is the construction workspace.
